i. WATERMELON MAN

“im liberal to a point” said the racist. the most hilarious movie i’ve seen this year

ii. PADRE PIO

just the parts in which padre pio fights the devil. those scenes were powerful for some reason and suffering

iii. BLACK GIRL

aesthetically gorgeous movie (said without any fetishism), painfully and irritatingly real (said without any hyperbole)

iv. GODZILLA MINUS ONE

this is the kind of sci-fi i like: i’d like to say “believable”, but that’s not the right word

v. GIORGIO MORODER’S METROPOLIS
