I just want to make a list of the worst things, movies or TV series, that really make me regret wasting time watching them. And yes, I’m also wasting time writing this list, but I’m hoping to reach someone that won’t make the same mistake as me…
Nine Lives (2016) – 87 minutes long
“Why did you watch it?” you may ask. “I don’t know,” I would reply. Kevin Spacey and Christopher Walken are in it, and the director worked on the Men In Black movies. I didn’t expect much, but fuck, was I disappointed. Maybe I was hoping for something reminiscent of Garfield, but no, I was delusional. This is possibly the worst movie I’ve ever seen.
The Mule (2018) – 116 minutes long
Just racist nuances. While I love The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, it’s not because of Clint Eastwood; credit goes to Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone. Eastwood seems to have become too full of himself over time. People like confident people, and he got put in so many other amazing movies thanks to that. However, I don’t consider him a good actor, and he’s definitely a bad filmmaker. His movies are ego boosters with no art.
How It Ends (2018) – 113 minutes long
You’d have to be quite a fucker to make a movie this long and not give it an ending. Not even an open ending—just no ending at all. It’s as if the film abruptly stops rolling. At least put “Part I” in the title, you fuckers. And no, the title was definitely chosen after the movie was completed. I blame Netflix for this.
A Hologram for the King (2016) – 97 minutes long
What’s even the point of this movie? That bureaucracy sucks? How did they pitch it to Tom Hanks?
Total: 413 minutes. Almost 7 hours. I want to cry.
Please, if you disagree in any way, reach out to me, let’s talk about it.
